A positive relationship with food and a nutritionally dense diet is an essential component of the healing journey.
However, many of us need to heal our relationship to food before we can make a real change to our diet.
Through cultivating a sacred relationship to the foods we eat, we can heal from disconnection and remember how to nourish ourselves, body & soul.
In 2023, I will offer a four week guided journey to reclaim a nourishing way of eating, rooted in the wisdom of ancestral nutrition.
This program is a powerful add on to any therapeutic program that includes psychedelic therapy and/or microdosing.
This protocol will support the creation of an internal environment that will deepen your journey experiences (similar to an ayahuasca “dieta”).

What is Ancestral Nutrition?
Ancestral Nutrition is a journey of deep listening, memory and intuition. It is a process of communing with our body and learning to interpret the language of our human being.
For our ancestors, food was a tool to build and nourish our bodies. The ritual preparation of each meal was a sacred practice guided by the memories of thousands of generations. Our ancestors could see the rich tapestry that weaves each morsel of food to a specific organ or function in our earth-bound, human bodies. There is a depth to the symbiotic and synergistic relationship between humans, plants, and animals that our untrained eyes miss in the fast-paced modern world. It is the mystery, the unseen, the intimate way in which humans have always been fed physically and spiritually by our beloved earth.
There is a relationship between our bodies and sacred foods that has endured the passage through time and space to whisper their secrets into our ears today. Remembrance is written in our blood, bones, and on the earth beneath our feet. To hear it, we must slow down, and listen. Our bodies have been built over thousands of years through an intimate relationship with the foods of the earth.

Through this course, you will begin the journey of reclaiming your ancient, sacred relationship to food.
COURSE STRUCTURE
Week One
Week One is an honest exploration of where you are with your diet & connection to food. You will do the first week of food journaling, just eating as you normally would and recording your mood and health daily. This week will also include meditations to support connection to your Ancestral lineage.
Week Two
Week Two will begin the deep dive into ancestral nutrition. We will begin with a basic dietary protocol that will work for most people. You will listen to your body and make changes based on what feels best to you. This week will also include meditations on somatic experience to deepen your connection to your body.
Week Three
Week Three will be the bridge between worlds as we begin to incorporate sacred, traditional foods from our ancestry. Each participant will be asked to incorporate one sacred food that is calling to them on a regular basis.
Week Four
In the final week of the program, You will be well into Your journey of ancestral nutrition. This week, we will incorporate ritual practice including understanding of the sacred elements in Food, In the final week, all participants are asked to cook a ritual meal that includes sacred foods to honor themselves, their ancestors, and the DEEPEning journey of healing ahead.

An ancestral nutrition journey is not about losing weight or looking a certain way. It is not about becoming a hunter/gatherer or a homesteader. It is not about becoming “more” spiritual or getting it perfect every time. It is not a prescription that will heal all of your physical, mental, and emotional dis-ease — it won’t necessarily heal anything for that matter. That journey is long, holistic, and you will likely never find a “magic bullet” (but, if you do, please let me know).
Ancestral Nutrition is about your wellbeing, your connection to the earth, and feeding your spirit. It is about honoring your own natural cycles, and the greater cycles of the collective. It is about honoring your human-ness, and the ancient practice of presence with our food. It is It is about reclaiming your relationship to food in a way that feels nourishing to your soul. It is about building a foundation in your life that is rooted in something real & authentic - good, organic, nourishing, food.
